The Boofers Union exists to protect the rights, dignity, and comfort of festival-goers and their animals. Founded on principles of mutual aid, collective action, and a shared commitment to a good time, the Union advocates for fair camping conditions, access to shade and hydration, and the unencumbered freedom to boof in peace. We are not affiliated with any political party. We are affiliated with the boof.
What We Stand For
A campsite is a commons. Every member bears equal responsibility for its upkeep, its shade structures, and the responsible management of its supply chain. The Union holds that no single member shall be left to haul the cooler alone.
The boof is a protected act. The Union recognizes each member's right to boof freely, frequently, and without commentary from non-members. Judgment is a non-union position and will not be tolerated within camp boundaries.
Animals are full participants in the festival experience. The Union commits to ensuring that every covered animal receives adequate hydration, a designated rest area, and access to the same sound-abatement resources as their human counterparts.
Through rigorous collective bargaining, the Union has secured comprehensive pet insurance for all covered animals. Coverage is active from festival entry to exit, with no exclusions for breed, size, or perceived sassiness. All claims are processed by full membership vote.
